Responsibilities

• Maintain collaborative relationship with intake and admissions to support occupancy and collections goals.
• Review referrals and discuss facility rates, billing and payment terms with residents and families; assist with Medicaid applications.
• Manage monthly Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care billing and follow-up on delinquent payments.
• Maintain vital stats: admissions, discharges, expirations, transfers, daily census.
• Maintain financial records: cash receipts, disbursements, A/R, A/P, payroll journal and general ledger.
• Ensure confidentiality of protected information in all communications.
