Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to be the first line of contact for users, delivering expert IT support and troubleshooting within healthcare IT environments. You will work with IT, Product and Engineering teams to resolve incidents, maintain service quality, and continuously improve support processes.

Role requires 5+ years in IT support, a healthcare IT background, and strong communication skills. The position is remote with on-call rotations and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an IT support role.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven IT support experience in healthcare or clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial contact for users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents.
• Coordinate projects and own communication with customers throughout resolution.
• Provide second-level support for healthcare IT systems and complex applications.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems in a timely manner.
• Triage, monitor, and assign tickets; collaborate with IT, Product and Engineering teams.
• Maintain detailed incident and solution records in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to improving support processes and knowledge base.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal IT policies.
• Support key customers and maintain positive relationships with updates and guidance.
