Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Site Support Technician to provide Level 1 support for desktop hardware, peripherals, and network equipment at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The role includes asset management, routine audits, and end-user training to uphold Mercy's hardware and software standards.

Required is an Associate degree or equivalent IT experience, with the ability to travel up to 125 miles. Occasional weekend/nights and 24x7 on-call support for priority incidents are possible.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent IT experience.
• Experience with desktop hardware and peripherals preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 125 miles for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for Mercy desktop hardware and peripherals.
• Complete work orders and incidents for hardware issues.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and implement solutions.
• Deploy and track desktop hardware assets.
• Maintain asset inventory compliance.
• Perform end-user training on hardware and software standards.
• Assist in hardware lifecycle management activities.
• Travel for field visits and warm hand-offs to other teams.
• Ensure security policies are followed and maintain 24x7 on-call support for priority incidents.
