Job summary

Prime Healthcare's St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL is seeking an IT Desktop Technician to provide end-user support and maintenance for desktop systems. Full-time, days, 7:00am–3:30pm, 40 hours weekly, in-hospital environment.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, collaborate with the IT team, and assist clinicians and staff to ensure dependable technology for patient care, with travel up to 50% for on-site coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
• Experience in IT support, preferably healthcare.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
• Understands hospital operations and IT应用 in healthcare.
