Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a hybrid IT Support Specialist for a healthcare setting in Holyoke, MA. You will deploy new devices onsite and provide remote support from a command center, handling Windows environments, Office 365, and Active Directory issues.

You will log and triage incidents via ServiceNow, troubleshoot hardware and software at the user level, and collaborate with IT teammates to ensure high-quality, timely service in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer support in a technical environment.
• Help desk or service desk experience supporting end users by phone and remotely.
• Hands-on computer hardware installation, unboxing, setup, deployment.
• Hardware break/fix troubleshooting on desktops, laptops, and related devices.
• Windows operating systems in an end-user environment.
• Office 365 support basics.
• Active Directory concepts for user support.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, apps.
• Remote troubleshooting and triage of user issues.
• Clear communication and professional customer service.
• Hybrid onsite/remote operations.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, configure, and deploy new hardware for end users.
• Perform hardware break/fix activities and diagnose issues.
• Provide remote technical support via a command center.
• Triage incidents and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Support Windows-based systems and Office 365 applications.
• Assist users with Office 365 setup and access questions.
• Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools to manage tickets.
• Deliver customer-focused help desk support with professionalism.
• Perform basic AD-related tasks under established procedures.
• Troubleshoot applications remotely and assist with config issues.
• Support remote troubleshooting to resolve issues without onsite visits.
• Assist with imaging, configuration, and deployment of devices.
• Collaborate with IT teammates to ensure consistent support.
