Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is seeking a diligent IT professional to provide desktop and end-user support across staff and remote locations. The role covers installation, configuration, testing of computer systems, and ongoing usability of desktops and software within established guidelines.

Responsibilities include hardware/software troubleshooting, remote maintenance, and collaboration with Help Desk and Network Operations to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience supporting Windows Operating Systems and end users preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Experience installing software and patches on desktops/laptops.
• Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems.
• A+ or MCSE preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as a highly visible member of the Information Systems Team.
• Provide desktop and workstation support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and software installation.
• Use remote maintenance tools to resolve first- and second-level support calls.
• Collaborate with Help Desk and Network Operations to resolve user issues.
• Assist staff with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops and software.
• Coordinate with vendor support contacts to resolve problems with desktop equipment.
