Job summary

The Technical Analyst at HCA Florida JFK Hospital delivers hands-on desktop and ITG support across facilities, responding to incidents reported to the Service Desk and participating in 24x7 on-call rotations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or healthcare related field preferred.
• Must have one year IT experience
• Basic A+ and Microsoft certifications preferred
• Valid state driver’s license and proof of auto insurance, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs facility ITG equipment and software per standards and guidelines.
• Responds to inquiries and provides superior customer support for users.
• Analyzes and provides hands-on support for simple to moderate inquiries.
• Coordinates with other technical areas to resolve problems.
• Logs and tracks problems; reviews problem tracking databases
• Performs facility-based moves, adds, and changes (MACs) as needed
• Maintains documentation for each incident or request; escalates complex problems
• Provides on-call support as needed and carries a pager
• Aids and trains users on division and facility technology
• Performs preventative maintenance
• Recommends process changes to improve ITG desktop support
• Works effectively with customers and IT staff
• Participates in meetings and training to improve performance
• Adheres to ITG standards and policies
• Maintains confidentiality of patient care and employee information
