Job summary

HCA Healthcare in far western North Carolina is seeking a Technical Analyst who implements and supports facility and division desktop equipment, serving as the primary technical resource for end-user incidents. You’ll join a 24x7 on-call rotation and provide hands-on desktop support to division and facility IT staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's in information systems or healthcare-related field (preferred), 1 year IT experience, A+ and Microsoft certifications preferred, and a valid NC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• 1 year of IT experience is required.
• A+ and Microsoft Product certifications are preferred.
• Valid state driver's license is required.
• Occasional Intermittent Local Travel Required

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve inquiries and requests for assistance with division or facility computer systems, and provide a superior customer support experience for division and facility users.
• Analyze and provide hands-on support for simple to moderate inquiries.
• Log and track problems; review problem tracking databases.
• Perform facility-based moves, adds, and changes (MACs), as needed.
• Maintain documentation for each incident or request, and escalate complex problems to the next level of support per documented procedures.
• Aid and train users on division and facility technology.
