Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers seeks a Desktop Support Technician I to deliver hands-on IT support across our health centers in Tampa, FL. You will install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, and printers, while addressing hardware, software, and network issues in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role requires at least 2 years of desktop support experience, an Associate degree or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of desktop support experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support IT connectivity for medical devices.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access.
• Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical support.
• Travel to local sites for equipment setup and support.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and TFHC policies.
