Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers seeks a Desktop Support Technician I to deliver hands-on IT support across our Florida health centers. You will install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, and printers while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, manage user accounts, and coordinate with vendors. This on-site role requires travel to local sites and a focus on reliability and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of desktop support experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain desktops, laptops, phones, and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support IT connectivity for medical devices.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access.
• Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical support.
• Travel to local sites for equipment setup and support.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and TFHC policies.
