Job summary

Lake Eustis Healthcare & Rehabilitation seeks an HR Coordinator to support day-to-day people operations, compliance, and recruitment for an onsite team in Eustis, FL.

In this role, you will promote employee engagement, manage payroll updates, coordinate benefits, support regulatory compliance, and oversee recruitment activities while maintaining confidential records and providing guidance on HR policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR experience.
• Preferred: HR experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare environment.
• Union experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and excellent organizational ability.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Promote employee engagement through morale-focused initiatives and effective disciplinary practices.
• Process HR-related payroll updates, terminations, and coordinate benefits administration.
• Support regulatory compliance, including Department of Health guidelines.
• Manage recruitment activities by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for open roles.
• Oversee core HR administration, including: I-9 documentation; Workers' compensation; Disability claims; FMLA administration.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee records and documentation.
• Answer HR questions and support employees and leadership with HR policies and procedures.
