Insight Health System in Flint, MI seeks a proactive HR Coordinator to support onboarding, benefits, payroll inquiries, and daily HR operations from our HQ. The onsite role may support other locations virtually and welcomes candidates with or without HR experience.

You will manage employee records in the HRIS, coordinate LMS training, and handle background checks and verifications while maintaining a positive workplace culture and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• HR experience preferred
• Work authorization to work in the U.S.
• Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
• Customer-service oriented and empathetic

Responsabilités

• Provide first-level HR support for inquiries including policies, benefits, and payroll
• Assist with pre-employment processes and documentation with hiring managers
• Manage training in the LMS and track completion
• Process garnishments and unemployment claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Handle background checks and screenings for pre-employment
• Manage employment verifications and official documentation requests
• Respond to daily help desk tickets and assist employees
• Orient new hires and explain policies, benefits, and procedures
• Audit and maintain confidential employee records in the HRIS
• Assist in employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs
• Support department objectives and adapt to changing priorities
• Adhere to company policies to ensure consistency and efficiency
