HR Jobs in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an HR/Payroll Coordinator to support day-to-day HR and payroll operations in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and support audits and surveys.

The role requires at least 1 year in HR, preferably in healthcare, with TB screening, English proficiency, and a willingness to work onsite. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and PHR/SHRM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of HR experience, preferably in healthcare settings.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
• Evidence of being TB-free at hire and per policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct, policies, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate required compliance training for staff.
• Handle daily HR office operations and maintain employee records.
• Conduct pre-employment screening and background checks.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Process Leave of Absence requests.
• Maintain I-9 documentation and files.
