Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or customer service.
• BLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• English proficiency required; bilingual is a plus.
• HIPAA/AHCA experience preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Greet every guest entering the center.
• Handle new patient registration, check-in, and check-out.
• Answer phone calls professionally and take accurate messages.
• Manage Provider's schedule including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; collect copays and balances.
• Ensure proper appointment types and run end-of-day reconciliation report.
