Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in a medical clinic or customer service.
• BLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management.
• Ability to travel locally up to 10% for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients; manage front office operations.
• Schedule, check-in/out patients; maintain patient records.
• Answer phones professionally and log messages.
• Verify insurance information and collect copays when applicable.
• Coordinate with medical staff to deliver patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain front office and lobby space; restock supplies.
• Prepare new patient registrations and keep provider schedule current.
