Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry and Low Voltage & High Voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge using CMMS to organize and track staff work performance.
• Ability to organize a work team, measure progress, and coordinate multiple trades for timely completion.
• Excellent communication with superiors, peers and subordinates.
• Customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• The building supervisor supervises the multi-skilled staff assigned to the buildings.
• Develop, implement and maintain safe working practices for all employees assigned to the units.
• Ensures the appropriate environmental conditions for patients, staff and visitors.
• Plans and maintains work schedules and checks work orders to ensure distribution and completion of work.
• Carrying out minor repairs and scheduled maintenance of HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, wind and waterproofing.
• Reviews completed job orders and ensures all work is captured in the CMMS system.
• Attends and participates in weekly scheduling meetings with the Planner/Schedulers.
• Prepares departmental status reports for senior management and participates in budget tracking and procurement processes.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction through timely work and strong service levels.
