The role oversees day-to-day building operations, vendor management, workplace readiness, and life-safety initiatives in Midtown Manhattan. This hands-on supervision position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Background in facilities management or building operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day building operations and workplace readiness to keep the office safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Supervise facilities personnel and coordinate service requests, work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Serve as a liaison between the client, property management, building engineering, internal teams, and vendors.
• Monitor HVAC and environmental systems; address issues and escalate as needed.
• Oversee vendor performance, service quality, schedules, and standards compliance.
• Support life safety initiatives, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
• Coordinate vendor walkthroughs, office projects, and workplace enhancements.
• Partner with IT, Workplace Experience, and Hospitality teams to keep spaces operational.
• Maintain accurate work order tracking and incident documentation.
