Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Building Services Supervisor to provide front-line supervision of Building Services, Patient Transport, and Housekeeping, ensuring a clean, sanitary environment across the Medical Center.

The role includes staff training, resource planning, monitoring Epic-related workflows, reporting findings to supervisors, and implementing new programs to enhance service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field is required.
• 2 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of service standards and incorporates them into daily duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Attends trainings and implements new programs
• Monitors resources for Epic-related Building Services and Patient Transport programs
• Represents the Building Services and Patient Transport Department at meetings
• Maintains safety, infection control, and sanitation standards across assigned areas
• Prepares daily reports for supervisor and documents incidents as needed
• Develops staff through training and performance reviews
• Establishes daily assignment schedules and allocates resources to meet goals
