Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn is seeking a Building Services Supervisor to provide frontline supervision across Building Services, Patient Transport, and Housekeeping. The role ensures clean, safe environments and optimal resource allocation for bed/discharge cleaning and in-between case tasks throughout the Medical Center.

The candidate will monitor Epic-related activities, oversee staff performance, and participate in program development to improve service delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of experience in related field.
• Experience with Data Analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's service standards and incorporates them into duties.
• Monitors and allocates necessary resources related to Epic programs (discharge/transfer bed cleaning, Patient Transport trips).
• Attends meetings and represents Building Services and Patient Transport Department.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and sanitation standards compliance across assigned areas.
