Job summary

Yona oversees district operations for housekeeping and laundry across multiple skilled nursing facilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. You will lead managers, coach staff, and maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities include regular facility visits, performance feedback, recruitment, and ensuring survey-ready operations. This role requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years’ experience in housekeeping services and multi-facility management in a healthcare environment is desired.
• General business acumen.
• Skilled in motivating and supervising staff members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.
• Public speaking skills.
• Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, clients and other personnel and the public.
• Ability to work all shifts as needed.
• Proficient in Windows based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manages in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Visits each facility in the district on a regular basis to meet with managers and provide feedback on their performance to assist with their professional development.
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services being provided by Yona.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work completed by the Environmental Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and in orderly condition at each facility in the district.
• Forecasts and plans the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
