Yona is seeking a District Manager to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. You will lead managers, ensure sanitary, safe, and well-supplied facilities, and drive resident satisfaction while meeting regulatory standards.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train and develop staff across districts.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years’ experience in housekeeping services and multi-facility management in a healthcare environment is desired.
• General business acumen
• Skilled in motivating and supervising staff members
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service and quality attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals
• Public speaking skills
• Excellent stress management, administrative and organizational, and follow-through skills
• Ability to interact positively with residents, clients and other personnel and the public
• Ability to work all shifts as needed
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Manages in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Visits each facility in the district to meet with managers and provide feedback on performance
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures
• Supervises and evaluates the Environmental Services Directors and Supervisors
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly environments at each facility
• Forecasts and plans purchases of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment
• Reviews and analyzes district reports
• Interviews, hires and orients Environmental Services Managers and Supervisors
• Maintains staffing levels at each facility
• Maintains knowledge of CBAs in the district
• Attains financial goals by cost-effective programs
• Maintains records (inventory, compliance, income/expense, personnel)
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates activities with other departments
• Keeps departments survey-ready and compliant with regulations
• Maintains excellent relations with residents and staff
• Participates in facility meetings and committees
• Promotes professional growth of the department team
• Conducts quality assurance rounds and cost controls
• Reports monthly initiatives, goals, and accomplishments
• Promotes and monitors resident satisfaction
• Performs housekeeper/laundry/floor care duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned
