Job summary

Yona is seeking a District Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations across multiple facilities in New Jersey. You will ensure sanitary, safe, and well-supplied environments while developing managers and maintaining resident satisfaction.

The role requires a four-year degree, minimum two years in healthcare housekeeping, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will visit facilities regularly, manage staffing and CBAs, and drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree strongly desired; related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manages in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Visits each facility in the district on a regular basis to meet with managers and provide feedback on their performance.
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work by Environmental Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly conditions at each facility.
• Forecasts and plans purchase of supplies and equipment.
• Interviews, hires and orients Environmental Services Managers and Supervisors.
• Maintains staffing levels and knowledge of CBAs in the district.
• Attains financial goals by managing cost-effective programs.
• Maintains records (inventory, compliance, income/expense, personnel).
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Ensures survey-readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and professional growth of the team.
• Conducts quality assurance rounds and reports on initiatives and goals.
