Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a skilled nursing facility. You will lead staff, organize operations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role requires supervision experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, training, and cost-effective programs while maintaining survey readiness.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired.
• Experience in housekeeping, laundry, or healthcare supervision is preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise staff and maintain high service standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality attitude required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals/objectives.
• Public speaking and strong organizational skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and equipment operation/maintenance.
• Plans and directs department activities to ensure clean, sanitary facilities.
• Supervises and evaluates work quality of department staff.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary and orderly.
• Forecasts and plans purchasing of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Keeps records for inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel.
• Leads meetings and coordinates with other departments.
