Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent recognized by the state education department.
• Friendly, professional communication and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system; intermediate/advanced MS-Office skills beneficial.
• Experience in Data Entry, Medical Records, Health Care, Insurance Claims, proofreading documents.
• Ability to stay organized with fast-paced work and strong attention to detail.
• Eligible to pass HIPAA introductory exam annually and ROI course with 85%+.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls with high-quality customer service.
• Answer release of information related inquiries accurately and timely.
• Review, research, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence.
• Document all calls and resolutions in the software systems.
• Follow department and site procedures; maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional rapport with colleagues and management.
• Communicate openly with team; report problems promptly.
