Job summary

STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support healthcare capital projects in a role within the owner's representative team. You will assist with design coordination, construction activities, and project controls while working with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders in active healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in healthcare or complex facilities, understands budgets and schedules, and communicates effectively with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or a related field.
• 4+ years of PM/CM or project engineering experience, preferably healthcare or complex facilities.
• Experience across design and construction lifecycle.
• Knowledge of budgets, timelines, change management, contracts, and controls.
• Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager in planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout of healthcare capital projects.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, facilities teams, and clients.
• Monitor design/construction for compliance with contract requirements and project objectives.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, schedules, cost reporting, change orders, POs, invoices, and pay apps.
• Track milestones, risks, and action items; escalate concerns.
• Support project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and contractor documentation.
• Assist with procurement, bid evaluations, and contract administration.
• Support construction activities in active healthcare environments with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate commissioning, equipment installation/relocation, shutdowns, phased occupancy, and turnover.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
