Job summary

STV Incorporated in the United States is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support healthcare capital projects, including renovation, expansion, and new construction, within active facilities. You will work with project teams to coordinate design and construction activities, monitor controls, and facilitate collaboration among clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or related field.
• 4+ years of project management or construction management experience in healthcare or complex facilities.
• Experience across design and construction phases with budgets, schedules, and contracts.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager in planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout of healthcare capital projects.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, facilities teams, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor design/construction for compliance with contract requirements, objectives, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, schedules, cost reporting, change orders, and contractor pay applications.
• Track milestones and risks, escalate concerns related to cost, schedule, or quality, and support project meetings and documentation.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, change requests, and contractor documentation; assist with procurement and contract administration.
• Support construction in active healthcare environments while minimizing disruption to patients and operations.
• Coordinate commissioning, equipment installation or relocation, shutdowns, phased occupancy, and turnover.
