Job summary

STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support healthcare capital projects, including renovation, expansion, and new construction, within an owner's representative team. You will help coordinate design, construction, and controls while liaising with clients, consultants, and vendors in active facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or a related field.
• 4+ years of PM or construction management experience, preferably healthcare or complex facilities.
• Experience across design and construction phases of projects.
• Knowledge of budgets, timelines, change management, contracts, and project controls.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager in planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout of healthcare capital projects.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor design and construction for compliance with contracts, objectives, and quality standards.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, schedules, cost reporting, and contractor pay apps.
• Track milestones, risks, actions, and escalate cost/schedule/quality concerns.
• Support meetings and maintain project documentation, minutes, reports, and logs.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and change requests.
• Assist with procurement, bid evaluations, and contract administration.
• Support construction in active healthcare environments with minimal patient disruption.
• Coordinate commissioning, equipment installation/relocation, shutdowns, occupancy, and turnover.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams.
