Job summary

STV in Seattle, WA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support healthcare capital projects on active facilities. You will coordinate design and construction activities, assist with budgets, schedules, and change management, and maintain project documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with owners, consultants, contractors, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders, with a focus on minimizing patient impact while ensuring quality and compliance across design, procurement, and turnover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or related field.
• 4+ years of project management/construction management experience, preferably healthcare or complex facilities.
• Experience across design and construction phases.
• Knowledge of budgets, timelines, change management, contracts, and project controls.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and vendor/contractor coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager in planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout of healthcare capital projects.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, facilities teams, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor design/construction activities for contract compliance, objectives, quality, and requirements.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, schedules, cost reporting, change orders, POs, invoices, and contractor pay apps.
• Track milestones, risks, action items, and escalate concerns related to cost, schedule, quality, or operations.
• Support project meetings and maintain project documentation including minutes, reports, logs, and correspondence.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change requests, and contractor documentation.
• Assist with procurement, bid evaluations, contractor coordination, and contract administration.
• Support construction in active healthcare environments while minimizing patient disruption.
• Coordinate commissioning, equipment installation/relocation, shutdowns, phased occupancy, and turnover.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
