Empath Health in Palm Harbor is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to manage high-volume healthcare invoicing across hospice and home care networks. You will review, code, and process invoices for Pharmacy, DME, and Patient Transportation, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes automation monitoring in Corcentric, vendor onboarding, and accurate 1099 year-end processes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive accounts payable in healthcare or hospice.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred; equivalent AP experience accepted.
• Hands-on navigation in Workday ERP or equivalent tier-1 accounting platform.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing; ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPCS desirable.
• Strong Excel skills with data entry and adherence to internal controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service experience required.

Responsabilités

• Process high-volume vendor invoices for healthcare services (Pharmacy, DME, Patient Transportation).
• Review invoices for compliance with hospice guidelines, contracts, and regulatory limits.
• Monitor automated invoice ingestion and resolve EDI bottlenecks using Corcentric or similar tools.
• Maintain vendor portals, collect IRS Form W-9 data, and support year-end 1099s.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and prevent duplicate payments.
• Procure documentation for new vendors and perform vendor setup as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, staff, and vendor information.
• Collaborate across teams to align with agency policies and mission.
