Job summary

Empath Health is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant end-to-end processing of vendor disbursements across our hospice and home care networks. You will manage high-volume invoices for Pharmacy, DME, and Patient Transportation, and resolve invoicing discrepancies.

The role requires 2–4 years in healthcare AP, a degree in accounting/finance, and hands-on Workday ERP and Corcentric experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive accounts payable experience in healthcare or hospice.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Hands-on Workday ERP navigation or equivalent.
• Experience with Corcentric or similar automated invoice management software.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and writing skills; customer service required.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing; ICD-9/10 CPT/HCPCS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct Healthcare AP processing: review, code, and process high-volume invoices.
• Compliance review with hospice guidelines and contracts.
• Automation management with Cocentric to monitor invoice ingestion and EDI flows.
• Vendor onboarding, portal maintenance, and 1099 routines.
• Research and format invoices to minimize duplicates; communicate with vendors.
• Procure and complete vendor documentation and set-up.
• Uphold confidentiality of patient, donor data; adhere to agency policies.
• Collaborate with team and clinical staff to align with Mission.
