The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) at Mayo Clinic provides organizational, receptionist and clerical support to patient care units and the healthcare team. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational, receptionist and clerical support to patient care units and healthcare team.
• Monitor and order supplies; may transcribe orders to patient EMR and other devices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors and facility staff across the continuum of care.
• Serve as a resource to health care team and be familiar with Mayo Clinic resources.
• Use good judgment and problem-solving; participate in continuous improvement; support team requests and patient needs.
