Mayo Clinic is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units. Responsibilities include monitoring and ordering supplies, and assisting with EHR orders, while communicating effectively with patients, visitors and staff across care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain organization.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and listening skills.
• Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Self-directed and able to adapt to unpredictable situations.

Responsabilités

• Monitors and orders supplies; assists with managing orders in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Communicates effectively with patients, visitors and staff; supports care team as a resource.
• Carries out duties with good judgment and problem-solving; participates in continuous improvement activities.
