Mayo Clinic is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units. The role includes monitoring supplies, answering call lights, and aiding the care team with EHR management.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and HUC certification or training. Availability for flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, is expected.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HUC post-secondary program or certification preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong keyboarding skills required.
• Experience in a medical environment is preferred and EPIC knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provides organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the health care team.
• Monitors and orders supplies; answers patient call lights and escalates needs to nursing staff.
• Assists in managing orders in the electronic health record (EHR) and communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
