Job summary

Premier Health Partners seeks a Chart Completion Tech in the Health Info MGMT Services team at Atrium Medical Center. The role involves preparing, scanning, and validating paper documents into the optical system, and ensuring accurate chart documentation for continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Complete a course in medical terminology or be enrolled in a class.
• 1-3 years of job-related experience; prior Medical Office experience preferred.
• Health Information or related medical field preferred; knowledge of Word & Excel.
• Must have completed a course in medical terminology or be enrolled currently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scan, and validate paper documents into the scanning system.
• Scan and validate loose reports for the department.
• Analyze medical records for deficiencies in chart documentation.
• Process requests for government audits and chart reviews.
• Monitor incomplete charts and follow up with physicians.
• Follow JC and Conditions of Participations and all federal/state guidelines.
