Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to lead HIT-driven initiatives across a broad regional field. You will partner with health systems and cross-functional teams to align EHR-enabled resources with clinical workflows and governance.

Responsibilities include assessing workflows, educating customers on HIT tools, and driving adoption while ensuring compliance with Legal and Compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in health informatics or EHR-related roles.
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health IT environments.
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with EHR products and governance.
• Epic or major EHR certification or RHIA/RHIT preferred.
• Advanced degree in health informatics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs, workflows, and tech environments.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for improved patient identification, care delivery, and efficiency.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled, digital, patient identification, and measurement resources and support their evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing insights, risks, opportunities and HIT trends.
• Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and field input on scalable tools and resources.
• Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions within GSK policies.
