Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to oversee front and back office operations under the Health Center Manager. You will coordinate staff, monitor patient flow, manage scheduling and templates, and ensure quality service and cost-effective care.

The role requires leadership, customer-service focus, and strong computer skills. Preference for bilingual English/Spanish and a minimum of one year in a supervisory role within a health setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong customer-service orientation and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with computers and office software.
• Experience with patient flow and scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate staff for front and back office operations.
• Proactively manage provider appointment schedules and templates.
• Maintain patient flow to support productivity and ensure timely check-in.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with evaluations and promotions.
• Participate in interviews and hiring for Front/Back Office roles.
• Coordinate site audits/visits and communicate readiness to Health Center Manager.
• Provide coaching, training, and staff development under the Health Center Manager.
