Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is hiring a Health Center Supervisor to direct daily operations and supervise staff across Front Office and Back Office areas.

The role reports to the Health Center Manager and focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, quality care, and cost-effective operations. A strong emphasis is placed on coordinating patient flow and staff performance oversight.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates preferred. Experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) but not required.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with general training techniques.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and providers from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate staff and day-to-day operations for the health center.
• Manage Front Office and Back Office operations and patient flow in real time.
• Ensure adherence to customer service standards and quality of work.
• Monitor staff performance and support evaluations and coaching.
• Participate in interviews and staff selection with Health Center Manager.
