Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to direct, supervise, and coordinate staff and day-to-day operations for the health center. This role ensures excellent customer service, quality care, and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include managing Front Office and Back Office workflows, monitoring staff performance, interviewing new personnel, and coordinating with the Health Center Manager on process improvements and audits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) but not required.
• Strong customer-service orientation and rapport with patients.
• Strong computer skills and experience with office software.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate staff and day-to-day operations for the health center.
• Proactively manages provider appointment schedules and patient flow.
• Monitors and evaluates staff performance; assists with evaluations.
• Participates in interviews for new personnel for Front/Back Office positions.
• Plans assignments to ensure adequate coverage for quality care.
• Coordinate with Health Center Manager on audits and readiness for site visits.
• Interface with other departments to ensure operational effectiveness.
