Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to direct daily operations for Front Office and Back Office under the Health Center Manager. You will supervise staff, ensure service standards, and address scheduling, patient flow, and operational issues to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications include a High School diploma (Associates preferred), at least 1 year in management, strong computer and customer-service skills, and bilingual ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff adherence to customer service standards and quality of work.
• Proactively manage provider appointment schedules and templates.
• Maintain patient flow to support productivity standards and goals.
• Manage patient flow in real time and ensure timely check-in/registration.
• Provide coaching, training, counseling and staff development with Health Center Manager.
• Participate in interview process for Front/Back Office positions.
• Plan workloads to ensure adequate coverage for quality care.
• Coordinate with Health Center Manager on audits/visits readiness.
• Monitor cash/cobay collections, payments, and daily deposits.
• Interface with other departments to improve operations.
