Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a Ground Control and Headliner Experience Team Member to provide an exceptional experience to headliners. You will report to Ground Control and Headliner Experience Managers and help ensure safety, coordination, and attendee support at large-scale events in California.

The role requires energetic, customer-focused individuals who can operate radios, manage crowds, and assist during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience using radios and ability to work under pressure.
• Energetic and focused with initiative and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Must interact professionally and de-escalate situations.
• Stand on feet for up to four hours and walk long distances.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Walk up/down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome attendees at entrances and make everyone aware of Ground Control's presence and purpose.
• Pump water at refill stations and patrol event zones with assigned teammates.
• Learn how to operate a two-way radio and perform emergency medical calls.
• Listen to the radio and respond to calls and requests.
• Assist distressed individuals when needed.
• Share information from event guides with attendees.
• Understand evacuation procedures and locate safe refuge locations.
• Provide support at entrance areas using megaphones to assist Headliners.
