Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development in Torrington, WY is seeking a Substitute Paraeducator Head Start to foster a safe, engaging classroom for children aged 3–5. Qualifications

• Must work effectively with children aged 3-5, including those with special needs and their families.
• Understand developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education principles.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with lesson plans and classroom preparation.
• Provide direct services to children and families in various settings.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and therapists.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom and document on time.
• Deliver individualized educational activities to promote problem solving and self-confidence.
• Assist with outdoor activities and emergency procedures as needed.
