Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a Substitute Paraeducator Head Start to support a safe, welcoming classroom for 3–5 year olds. You will help lead with materials, provide individualized care, and assist in social readiness activities in alignment with Head Start standards.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to support IFSP/IEP goals, ensure a clean, safe environment, and participate in screenings and outdoor activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children ages 3–5, including those with special needs and their families.
• Understand developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with prep and setup of materials for instruction.
• Deliver direct services to children and families in various settings.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals in collaboration with team.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized classroom environments.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Assist with outdoor activities and child screenings as needed.
