Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a Paraeducator for Early Head Start to help create a safe, nurturing environment for 3- to 5-year-olds. You will partner with the Lead Teacher to prepare materials, support classroom activities, and provide individualized care to promote social competence and school readiness.

The position offers a base pay rate of $15.59 per hour, 35 hours per week, 233 program days per year, and opportunities for growth within Head Start.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CDA credential within specified time frame.
• WCFD supports training and certification.
• Degrees from accredited institutions recognized by US DoE only.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children for the program per DHHS and WCFD guidelines.
• Implement set lesson plans in various group settings.
• Provide direct services to children, families, and staff.
• Communicate positively with staff, children, and families.
• Assist with IFSP/IEP goals with teachers, family providers, and therapists.
