Job summary

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection in Napa Valley invites a wine program leader to elevate our fine dining wine service and guest experience. This role focuses on developing a distinctive wine list, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving profitability through exceptional wine service.

The successful candidate will train staff, oversee tastings, maintain wine integrity, and partner with management on strategic wine program initiatives. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a comparable fine dining environment.
• Knowledge of wine, cocktail, and beer menus and the ability to service them accordingly.
• Current Food Handler's Card and RBS training required.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team in developing and implementing the strategic plan for the wine program.
• Provide leadership in guest service standards within wine and beverage operations to ensure growth and profitability.
• Maintain the integrity of the wine program through quality checks of wines by the glass and by the bottle.
• Maintain complete knowledge of brands, characteristics, and descriptions of wines and glasses, as well as bar menu items and preparation methods.
