Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Orlando, FL seeks a Practice Leader to oversee water and wastewater projects, provide technical leadership, and mentor project teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in agricultural or civil engineering.
• P.E. designation in Texas.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience managing substantial W/WW projects.
• At least 10 years of those managing projects.
• Expertise in water supply, water treatment, booster stations, wastewater treatment, large diameter pipe installations.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to lead a team and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall guidance on design and technical aspects of water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare proposals and client agreements.
• Monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules with Senior/Project Managers.
• Oversee technical and professional development of project teams.
• Develop and maintain company design and production standards.
• Develop relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.
• Participate in professional associations and civic organizations.
