Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for a diverse client base in Texas. The role oversees multidisciplinary teams, manages scope, schedule, and budgets, and ensures high-quality technical execution.

Ideal candidates will hold an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree, be a licensed P.E., and have 7+ years of experience with water and wastewater systems, including design and construction.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree at minimum.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for client relationships and team mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead and mentor project teams in engineering designs, reports, calculations, permitting documents, and presentations.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and client agreements.
• Develop responses to RFQs, solicitations, and bond applications for utility district and public sector clients.
• Attend client, municipal, and board meetings to present progress and provide technical expertise.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, public agencies, and community leaders.
• Support the technical and professional development of team members.
• Contribute to company-wide design standards, QA/QC processes, and best practices.
