Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Practice Leader to oversee all Water/Wastewater projects, providing technical leadership and driving strategic growth. You will guide design teams, ensure quality, and coordinate with clients and public agencies.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas P.E. license (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) and bring 15+ years of experience managing complex W/WW projects, including cost estimation. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in civil/agricultural engineering.
• P.E. license in Texas or ability to acquire within 3 months.
• 15+ years of experience managing substantial W/WW projects, including cost estimation.
• Houston area experience and contacts are a strong plus.
• Industry recognition in water supply, water treatment, or wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall design and technical guidance on water and wastewater projects with emphasis on treatment processes.
• Prepare proposals and client agreements.
• Monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules with Senior/Project Managers.
• Oversee technical and professional development of project teams.
• Participate in developing company design and production standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.
• Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations.
