Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Head of Transportation to lead our enterprise fleet strategy and governance. You will drive route optimization, safety standards, and sustainability across regions while balancing cost, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role interfaces with executive leadership, procurement, and EHS, with a focus on modernization of telematics, fleet upgrades, and data-driven decision making. HQ located in Florham Park, NJ with flexible hybrid/remote options.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in transportation/logistics with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field; MBA preferred.
Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, fleet maintenance, and emerging clean transportation tech.
Experience with fleet management software, telematics, and route optimization; solid budgeting and P&L skills.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise Fleet Reliability Program and deploy a Transportation Management System for multi-territory operations.
Own DOT and FMCSA compliance across the enterprise fleet and partner with EHS to reduce incident rates.
Collaborate with Procurement on fleet assets and 3PL sourcing to cut total cost of ownership while improving service.
Oversee long-term fleet replacement, capital planning, budgeting, and cost-saving initiatives without compromising sustainability.
Partner with regional leaders to enable vehicle acquisition, maintenance programs, and transition to low-emission fleets.
