Job summary
Reworld Waste is seeking a Head of Transportation to lead our enterprise fleet strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of transportation assets and operations. You will drive routine reliability, route optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with sustainability, procurement, and operations teams.

Qualifications
- 10+ years in transportation/logistics with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and fleet maintenance best practices.
- Experience with fleet management software, telematics, and route optimization tools.
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and P&L management.
Responsibilities
- Lead an enterprise Fleet Reliability Program and deploy a Transportation Management System.
- Own DOT compliance and transportation safety performance across regions.
- Partner with Procurement on fleet acquisition and 3PL strategy to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Lead long-term fleet replacement strategy and capital planning.
- Collaborate with regional transportation leaders to enable low-emission and alternative-fuel vehicle transitions.
