Reworld Waste, headquartered in Florham Park, NJ, seeks a Head of Transportation to shape strategy and oversee enterprise fleet operations across regions. This role emphasizes sustainability, governance, and cost efficiency across transportation assets and networks.

You will drive reliability improvements, deploy a Transportation Management System for routing and dispatch, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance while partnering with procurement and EHS teams to advance environmental goals.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years in transportation/logistics/fleet management
• At least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in waste/logistics-heavy industries
• Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA a plus; strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations

Mansioni

• Lead enterprise fleet strategy across regions to drive productivity, standardization, and governance.
• Own DOT and FMCSA compliance, driver qualifications, hours-of-service, vehicle inspection, and recordkeeping.
• Partner with Procurement on fleet acquisition and 3PL sourcing to reduce total cost of ownership and improve service quality.
• Lead long-term fleet replacement strategy, capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sustainability, and customer service to align transportation strategy with environmental targets.
